Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Clarksburg Labs Inc. ("Clarksburg Labs", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use our website at clarksburglabs.com and the apps and services we publish (together, the "Services"). If an app has its own privacy notice, that notice applies to it in addition to this policy.

01Who we are
Clarksburg Labs Inc. is a Canadian corporation based in Clarksburg, Ontario. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at ben@clarksburglabs.com.
02Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us or create an account in one of our apps, we collect what you provide — for example your name, email address and the content of your messages.
Information collected automatically. When you use an app, we may collect limited technical information needed to run it reliably, such as device type, operating system version, app version, and diagnostic or crash data. Our servers also record basic request logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and troubleshooting.
Our website. clarksburglabs.com does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads, and our hosting provider keeps standard request logs.
03How we use it
- To provide, maintain and improve the Services.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Services.
- To keep the Services secure and prevent abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
04Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the Services — for example hosting, email delivery and crash reporting — under agreements that limit their use of it to providing those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
05Where it is stored
Some of our service providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored there may be subject to the laws of that country.
06Retention and deletion
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing ben@clarksburglabs.com; where an app offers in-app account deletion, you can also use that. We complete deletion requests within 30 days, except for information we must keep by law.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent to its use. To make a request, email us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
08Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where required by law.
09Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, let you know through the Services.
